APN — Access Point Name — is the string a phone uses to reach SMARTY for data, MMS and hotspot. Wrong values leave the SIM connected but unable to load pages.
Below are SMARTY's recommended APN values for Android and iPhone — name, username, password, MMSC, MMS proxy and port. A 'connected but no internet' state points at the APN.
Entering SMARTY APN values on iPhone — Smarty APN Settings iPhone
On Android 10 and up, Smarty's APN screen sits at Settings → Network & Internet (Connections on Samsung) → Mobile Network → Access Point Names. Plus icon adds a profile; tap an entry to edit.
Galaxy handsets: Settings → Connections → Mobile Networks → Access Point Names. Xiaomi and Redmi use Settings → SIM cards & Mobile Networks → Access Point Names.

On iOS 16 or later: Settings → Mobile Data → Mobile Data Network. If absent, SMARTY likely pushes the APN automatically. A reset restores SMARTY's defaults.
Newer iPhones on SMARTY's carrier bundle may grey out the APN field — contact SMARTY for a settings update.

Troubleshooting SMARTY APN issues (iPhone)
Still no data after entering SMARTY's APN values? Work through these in order:
1. Toggle aeroplane mode — ten seconds on, then off — forcing a SMARTY reconnect and APN re-registration.
2. Restart fully — this clears short-lived faults and applies the new Smarty values.
3. Rebuild the APN. Delete Smarty's entry and retype it — one wrong character breaks data.
4. Reset all network settings. Android: Settings → General Management → Reset → Reset Network Settings. iPhone: Settings → General → Reset → Reset Network Settings. SMARTY's defaults return.
5. Check the SMARTY account — SIM activation, standing and data allowance are all verifiable via the hub or customer services.

On Smarty, going in order usually fixes things within the first steps
• The MMS Proxy field is an IP address only — no http:// prefix
• APN Type must contain mms (e.g.
default, supl, mms)• On Android, save then select the profile before testing
APN settings for MMS on SMARTY (iPhone)
Smarty's MMS uses dedicated APN fields — MMSC, MMS proxy and MMS port. Check those first when picture messages fail.

Type the MMS fields carefully — the MMSC only works with http://, not https://
Frequently Asked Questions About Smarty APN Settings iPhone
Will changing APN settings delete anything?
No — the rest of the phone is unaffected. This only controls the Smarty connection for internet and MMS, and it's reversible.
Do I need to enter APN settings on an eSIM?
A SMARTY eSIM profile usually brings correct APN settings automatically. If data fails, enter them manually via the steps above.
Why is my SMARTY APN greyed out?
SMARTY locks the APN field on some devices and SIM types. Greyed out on Android? Look for reset APNs under Settings → Network & Internet → Mobile Network. On iPhone the carrier bundle controls it — ask SMARTY for an update.
