Vodafone eSIM lets you activate Vodafone service digitally. Vodafone eSIMs can be ordered online or in-store, with activation via QR code. Vodafone MVNOs including VOXI, Lebara, and Talkmobile also offer eSIM services on the Vodafone network.

Vodafone eSIM Activation on iPhone

  1. Order a Vodafone eSIM at vodafone.co.uk or in-store. A QR code is sent by email.
  2. On your iPhone, go to Settings › Mobile Data › Add eSIM.
  3. Tap Use QR Code and scan the Vodafone QR code.
  4. Follow the prompts and label the eSIM "Vodafone".
  5. Restart your iPhone. If data doesn't work, check Vodafone is selected as your data SIM in Settings.

Vodafone eSIM Activation on Android

  1. Order a Vodafone eSIM at vodafone.co.uk. QR code sent by email.
  2. On Samsung: Settings › Connections › SIM Manager › Add eSIM.
  3. On Pixel: Settings › Network & internet › SIMs › Add SIM.

Troubleshooting Vodafone eSIM

  1. Check your QR code is unused — each Vodafone eSIM QR code can only be scanned once. If it fails, contact Vodafone for a replacement code.
  2. Check carrier settings update — on iPhone, go to Settings › General › About. An update prompt means iOS needs to update carrier settings before the eSIM will work.
  3. Restart after activation — always restart your phone after scanning an eSIM QR code.
  4. Check the eSIM is set as active data SIM — on dual-SIM devices, ensure Vodafone eSIM is selected as the data line in SIM settings.
