A bad APN can cause data failure even with strong signal — verify via Settings → Mobile Network → Access Point Names.

Step 6 — Reset Smarty's network settings when resetting APN
On Android, reset network settings to restore Smarty defaults — saved Wi-Fi and Bluetooth go, apps and data stay.
On iOS, reset network settings via Settings → General → Transfer or Reset iPhone; SMARTY's defaults are restored.
