Step 1 — Check VOXI eSIM Compatibility

Confirm your phone supports eSIM and your VOXI plan is eSIM-compatible.

  • iPhone XS or later handles eSIM; look under Settings › General › About for "Digital SIM".
  • Android: Settings › Connections › SIM Manager — look for "Add eSIM".
  • Check VOXI offers eSIM on your plan: VOXI help.

Step 2: Get Your VOXI eSIM QR Code

  1. Order an eSIM plan or request an eSIM swap via the VOXI website or app.
  2. Look for the QR code in your email — single-use, so keep it ready.
  3. Before scanning the code, confirm Wi-Fi is stable, as the profile downloads online.
The QR code can only be used once. Contact VOXI for a replacement if needed.

Activate VOXI eSIM on iPhone

  1. Settings › Mobile Data › Add eSIM.
  2. Tap Use QR Code and scan the VOXI QR code.
  3. Follow prompts: Continue › Add Data Plan › Use as Mobile Data.
  4. The carrier profile takes care of downloading and connecting automatically.
  5. Test the setup by turning off Wi-Fi and opening a web page.

Activate VOXI eSIM on Android

  1. Samsung: Settings › Connections › SIM Manager › Add eSIM.
  2. Stock Android: Settings › Network & Internet › SIMs › Add a SIM.
  3. Choose Scan QR code from carrier and scan the VOXI QR code.
  4. On dual-SIM devices, this should be set as the preferred data line.
  5. Restart and test mobile data.
