⚠ MMS requires an active mobile data connection. Picture messages cannot be sent over Wi-Fi only — mobile data must be enabled.
Android MMS Setup — VOXI
The APN (Access Point Names) area within mobile network settings is where Android MMS gets configured, varying slightly by manufacturer.
Samsung (Galaxy devices)
- Open Settings › Connections › Mobile Networks › Access Point Names.
- Tap your existing VOXI APN to edit it, or tap + to create a new one.
- Set APN: voxi.
- Enter MMSC: http://mms.vodafone.co.uk/servlets/mms.
- Enter MMS Proxy: 212.183.137.012 and MMS Port: 8799.
- Set APN Type: default,supl,mms.
- Tap ⋮ › Save, then select the profile by tapping the radio button next to it.
- Restart the device or toggle Aeroplane Mode for the changes to apply.
Pixel and other Android devices
- Open Settings › Network & internet › Mobile network › Access point names.
- Tap the + icon to add a new APN, or tap your existing VOXI APN to edit it.
- Enter all the table's values exactly as shown, skipping anything not listed.
- Tap the three-dot menu and select Save. Tap the radio button next to the APN to activate it.
- The MMS configuration takes effect after a restart.
⚠ Important: After tapping Save on Android, the APN is not yet active. You must tap the radio button (empty circle) next to the APN to activate it. The circle must be filled for the profile to be in use.
VOXI MMS on iPhone
iPhones receive MMS settings automatically via the VOXI carrier bundle. You generally do not need to enter them manually. If picture messages are not working on iPhone, follow these steps:
- Go to Settings › General › About to check for and install any available carrier settings update.
- Go to Settings › Messages and confirm MMS Messaging is toggled ON.
- Toggle Aeroplane Mode on for 15–30 seconds, then off, to re-register on the VOXI network.
- Restart the iPhone all the way, then test with a picture message.
- MMS trouble that won't clear: try Settings › General › Transfer or Reset iPhone › Reset › Reset Network Settings, noting Wi-Fi passwords get wiped.
Note: On iPhones with iOS 16 or later, the APN field at Settings › Mobile Data › Mobile Data Network may be greyed out. This is normal — VOXI controls it via the carrier bundle. Contact VOXI to force a carrier profile update if needed.
