O2 MMS settings allow your phone to send and receive picture messages. The O2 MMSC is http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002 and the MMS Proxy is 82.132.254.1 on port 8080. MMS requires an active O2 data connection — it cannot be sent over Wi-Fi.

O2 MMS Settings

Enter these values in your APN profile to enable picture messaging. All values must be exact.

Android MMS Setup — O2

1. Open Settings › Connections (Samsung) or Network & internet (Pixel) › Mobile Networks.
2. Tap Access Point Names. Find your existing O2 APN or tap + to create a new one.
3. Set APN: mobile.o2.co.uk.
4. Enter MMSC: http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002.
5. Enter MMS Proxy: 82.132.254.1 and MMS Port: 8080.
6. Set APN Type: default,supl,mms. O2 allows combining internet and MMS in one APN. Set APN Type to default,supl,mms in your existing O2 internet APN to avoid creating a separate profile.
7. Tap ⋮ › Save, activate the profile, then restart your phone.

O2 MMS on iPhone

O2 iPhones configure MMS automatically via the carrier bundle. If picture messages fail, update the carrier settings via Settings › General › About, then restart.

1. Go to Settings › General › About and install any available carrier update.
2. Toggle Aeroplane Mode on for 15 seconds, then off.
3. Open your messaging app and confirm MMS Messaging is enabled in Settings › Messages.
4. Restart the iPhone if picture messages still fail.

1. Check mobile data is active — MMS requires a data connection, not just Wi-Fi.
